Risk

Anything worth having in life begins by taking a risk.
 
Risk is the Universe's way of pushing us to become more than what we are.
 
Risk is faith at the edge.
 
Risk is the pulsating essence of life.
 
Without risk, we are automatons going through our days with no purpose or meaning. 

We are safer, perhaps but we are also ironically, closer to death.

I kept meaning to comment on this, but forgot. I like this. A few Sundays ago at church, the pastor said faith is spelt R-I-S-K. Then today another said, "live with a high risk capacity". I've been reading/hearing a lot about risk...perhaps I need to take more risks.

Before I post the topic of discussion, I have to preface it by saying that even though Grey's Anatomy is shit now, there was once a time it was a really good show. Ok, maybe shit is harsh but it definitely has more down than up episodes. Anyways, I really despised Meredith, my best friend never quite got why I couldn't stand her, she thought I would be able to relate to her (oh dear god, yuck!). I vividly remember that episode, when Derek was torn between Addison and herself and she told him: "okay, here it is, your choice... it's simple, her or me, and I'm sure she is really great. but, I love you, in a really, really big pretend to like your taste in music, let you eat the last piece of cheesecake,hold a radio over my head outside your window, unfortunate way that makes me hate you, love you. so pick me, choose me, love me". I am in class all bored and stuff with A LOT of stuff on my mind, sigh. I have done blog rounds and visited a lot of bloggers for the first time, so I decided to just write out some stuff I can share. - Are there people out there who don't suffer from procrastination? I need to get on whatever it is they are on. It's like I know what I need to be doing and should be doing but I just don't, it's the most amazing and infuriating thing. - So you know the stereotype of how most Asians are small and skinny. When I see a fat one, I usually wonder how they feel and if they feel like they have failed their race.
